Data Sessions · Jan – June 2026

Pure Pearl Foundation, Mombasa, Kenya

I designed and ran data sessions for students using Excel and Power BI. The very first gathering was a simple meet-and-greet (the photo shows that day - no laptops yet, just getting to know each other in a small room). I then trained and guided a team of volunteers on how to mentor the students, modelling the sessions in the early weeks. Over roughly two months we ran regular classes before Django Girls Mombasa took place. Students completed the programme and graduated.
